We had a hard time trying to decide on a location for Brandon and Catherine’s formal session. They are both students at Utah State so they wanted to get some pictures on the “A” but they also wanted to get some with a nice nature look. So… we decided to just do a whole variety of locations.

We started up on campus, then went to out to Providence towards Zollinger’s tree farm, then back to Logan to get some at the base of the mountain. I even took my Mazda 3 off roading to get us up close to our location so that Catherine didn’t have to hike up the hill too far. Dedicated photographer right here. Luckily we didn’t end up getting stuck or I would’ve looked like a total fool.  She ended up hiking around anyways but it was fun to see what my car could do.

It is so fun to have clients that are willing to put in the extra effort to get a great location. If you have seen these two’s engagement photos, you know that we also went on quite the hike and they even stood on the edge of a cliff for a couple of shots.
