Formal Wedding Invites from Basic Invite

 As photographers, we often get asked about where to print the photos for wedding announcements. I recently found the company Basic Invite, and love their work! They are based out of Saint George, Utah, and have been doing stationery since 2006.  For our brand on Casey James Photography, we strive to have clean, classic and simplicity to our work. Basic Invites has the same look to their formal invites and would be a fantastic company to print with.

I love their basic invite. Life gets so busy and sending a wedding invite 3-4 weeks before the wedding is sometimes just not enough time beforehand to make sure peoples’ schedules are clear for your special day. So Save-the-Dates can be vital to getting all your important people to your big day. Plus, you get to use more of your engagements photos, which hopefully if we were your photographers, you love your photos enough that you want to use all you can!

Also, you have to check out their wedding coasters. I had never seen these before but think they are such a cute and unique idea. It is something that could be used throughout the night to set on the tables, but could also be a gift for people to take home and to remember the night. Such a smart and fun idea!

Some of the other things that really stood out to me about their company are;

Their Seal & Send Wedding Invitations are all-in-one wedding invitation have a tear-off RSVP postcard included! People can be not so great at RSVP’ing these days, and this makes it super easy for them. Having as close to accurate count for you can save you such a headache and money. I so wish I had this option when we got married! Another thing that is special about these is that guests’ addresses get printed on the front of each invitation, so you don’t need an envelope! Once you collect guest addresses, you can upload them to your invites. That is a huge time saver, and wedding planning takes a lot of effort so anytime that can be saved, the better!

Their envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed. One of my pet peeves is licking envelopes. It’s nasty, and when you are sending hundreds to invite to your wedding, this is a MUST! Plus they have a ton of color options to choose from.

Lastly, you can order samples, so that you can see how it looks in person before ordering the whole order. I know for me, I wanted everything to be perfect, and since wedding announcements and engagement photos are the first thing they will see of your wedding, they both are very important elements.
