The night Casey did this shoot, I had my best friend Camille staying with us. She was here visiting from Texas, and had recently had her second son born a month or so before. Her husband is in medical school so she came out to Idaho to get some extra help from family. I was so happy she took the time to spend some quality time with me and my family. If you have had a child before you know how crazy, chaotic and exhausting those first few months can be. I wanted to help her as much as I could and when Casey scheduled this shoot the week she was staying with me, I thought it would be cool if she went to the shoot since Camille is also a photographer. I wasn’t sure if she would go since she would have to leave her baby at home with me, but I knew it would be good for her to get out of the house and do what she loves. Also, she would get the chance to work with some incredible local vendors. She ended up going and had a blast! And I got baby snuggles for a couple of hours, which is there anything better?!
