Sam and Kendra got married in April at the Rexburg temple, and living in Idaho you never know what the weather will be like then. Once I remember it snowing in May here and they had to cancel school, so you just never know. The weather in the morning at the temple was fantastic. It was a beautiful day for a wedding. My wife and I got married in the Rexburg temple so I am always enjoy shooting weddings there and getting to go back.
That evening they had a reception at the Hilton Garden Inn in Idaho Falls. The weather took a crazy turn though it ended up that there was a tornado warning for Idaho Falls. Luckily it didn’t turn into a tornado, but it was a pretty crazy hail storm. Some parts of town had hail that was up to 1.25″ and put tons of holes in peoples sidings and broke windows. My wife and kids were home scared but luckily it wasn’t bad at the reception, and we got a beautiful rainbow from it afterwards (seen in picture below). Check out this video to see some of the damage done on a local house. Minus those poor houses that got so much damage, the day for Sam and Kendra was wonderful filled with love and a whole lot of dancing! His parents lit up the dance floor, and I could have honestly posted a whole blog post with pictures of them dancing. I love weddings where the dance floor is filled and you can tell people are really enjoying themselves.
