Sand Dunes Formals || Sam and Kendra Bridals || Rexburg Formal Photographer

Idaho Family Photographer || Casey James PhotographyThe sand dunes are one of my favorite backdrops for pictures. I mean look through these, I feel like the pictures speak for themselves. No matter what, I come home thrilled with the pictures at the sand dunes. Don’t get me wrong I love a good green backdrop of trees but the sand dunes are stunning in their own way. It’s completely worth all the sand in your shoes at the end of the shoot. These pictures made me very excited for their wedding! If you want to see their wedding and hear about the crazy hail storm that happened the evening of their wedding click here.

Speaking of sand.. my wife and I can’t decide if we should get sand box or not. I loved playing in the sand box growing up, and I know our kids would absolutely love it. My wife though doesn’t want one because of all the sand that would get in their clothes and dragged into the house. I totally get her opinion on that, but I would love if we could find a way to make a sand box work in our backyard. So any suggestions of what you have done as far as sand boxes go, are welcomed!

Mix of film and digital images. Film images were shot on a Pentax 645n with Kodak Portra 400 film and developed at The FIND Lab.
