I have gotten so many inquiries for LDS temple only coverage this summer. This is always such a fun part of the day to spend with the friends and family of the bride and groom as they anxiously waiting for the newly married couple to come out of the temple. It is my favorite part of the day to see the excitement on the couples’ faces as they throw open the doors to a cheering crowd. While I’m bummed to only spend part of the day with these awesome couples, I have enjoyed a handful more Saturday nights with my family because of this so I can’t complain. Usually in summer my weekends, are pretty full with weddings so it’s nice to get an extra time at home on the weekend. If you know me you know I love movies. We have a theater room in our house with a pretty nice set up with Dolby Atmos surround sound and a glorious 130-inch screen. I take my movie watching seriously, and so does my family! We LOVE family movie night, and after this wedding in particular since I had a Saturday night open, we took advantage and had a movie night full of pizza, popcorn, and treats. Those are the nights I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Small world..when this family reached out to me we didn’t know we knew each other. I saw pictures of the family and thought I recognized the mother of the bride but wasn’t sure from where. When we got to the temple that day we realized that she occasionally covers at the front desk at the place I work. I’m so glad I was able to shoot her daughter’s temple wedding day. Even in my short time with the couple, I could tell that they were so fun and easy to photograph!
