Todd went to high school with my wife and was in the same group of friends. He did an internship at my work recently so I have gotten to know him a little bit lately. I was excited when he asked me to take his pictures this year. His son Oliver is moving to Boise in the next few weeks, and he wanted some updated pictures of them together before he moved. We were able to get some great ones of them, and I love all Oliver’s adorable faces throughout. I know Todd will miss his son greatly so it was nice that I got to capture these for them to have once they are a little further away from each other.
Todd is going to school to be an Occupational Therapist, and from my experience with Speech Therapy school, I expect that he will be very busy in the next few years. I had actually looking into Occupational Therapy originally, but Utah State didn’t have that program but had an excellent Speech therapy program. I took a speech class one semester and I was hooked and knew I would enjoy it very much as my career! Plus, I got to stay in Logan longer which was a huge plus. We absolutely loved living in Logan, Utah. The master’s program was no joke. So many sleepless nights, stress and lots to learn. Now that it’s all over and I have a job I love, get to work with kids every day, and have a flexible schedule I know it was all worth it. Anyone else felt like school would never end? I still catch myself surprised that I am actually done with school and don’t have to worry about homework, tuition and writing papers anymore. Good luck Todd, it will all be worth it!
