Laura contacted us about mini sessions dates earlier this summer, and the original time we scheduled didn’t work out, but I’m so glad we were able to find another time to make it work! They were so awesome to work with! She told Casey that photographers in the past had a hard time getting pictures of them all looking at the camera. He said her kids were champions throughout the evening and he was able to get a lot of great photos, including ones of them all looking at the camera. Although I know those are important, I just love all the fun in between moments captured in a shoot. I especially love the impromptu kiss the little boy gave his little sister in the photos below. Is there anything more special than seeing the love and bond between your children? I’m not sure there is much more that can bring me so much happiness, than seeing my kids love, take care of and play with each other. My kids are 4 and 21 months old. Our little boy is just getting to the age where he is starting to really interact and play with our daughter. The 2 of them together melt my heart. I love seeing that bond, and I really hope that they always stay close to each other. When we found out that our second kid was a boy, to be honest, I was a little nervous because I wasn’t sure how their relationship would be. I had my kids a little over 2 years apart because I wanted them to be close growing up. But I’m from a family of all girls and Casey only has boys in his family. So I’m not familiar with the brother/sister bond. So far though Jaedyn is obsessed with her little brother, and I’m loving having one of each gender. It’s been so fun getting to experience both. I think/hope they will always be friends.
