You know the saying, “The days are long but the years are short” ? That is like my motherhood motto haha. Seriously being a stay at home mom such a big blessing but man the days are long sometimes. There are plenty of days when I look at the clock like a million times to check if  its almost 5:30 and my husband will be home. Of course there are days that we are so busy running my little girl to gymnastics or dance, going to chick fil a play area, going to the park or just seeing family that the day goes by fast. But not gonna lie thats not as often as I would hope. A lot of our time is spent hanging out at our house playing barbies or watching princess movies, which I LOVE! But its crazy that through all of these long days…. all the sudden they are a year old. (or 18 and moving out of the house. I haven’t experienced that yet but I’m sure that will come too soon also). I remember when my daughter turned 1. It was so shocking that a year had already flown by! Kids grow up too fast. I want to just cherish every single moment with my kids, although it is hard sometimes to cherish it when she is screaming and throwing a fit, but then again I know I will miss these days (even her crazy fits sometimes). And don’t get me wrong, most of the time she is the sweetest little girl. When we  got asked to take these pictures of Trey, I was 9 months pregnant with my second child. Now I have a 2 month old!! How in the world does that happen so quick? Although not gonna lie pregnancy this time felt like it lasted for eternity haha. But it just goes with the saying above, those years flow by!

This little cutie below loved the camera. I was super impressed by how well he looked at the camera, and gave us cute smiles. And took all those tight hugs from his sister pretty well! He would get so excited to play with the balls. It made me very excited to have a little boy. I never had brothers or nephews so this boy thing will be all new to me! But I am so excited to have one of each gender! And I’m sure way sooner then I want we will be posting pictures of my little boy turning one. AH!
