This stylized shoot really happened last minute. Jacelyn from Flora and Fern text me to plan a shoot for the coming weekend because she had some great flowers and unfortunately I wasn’t going to be available. I was however free that night. We were able to find our model and get the floral arrangement put together within a few hours. Our model Megin, was awesome and has a great fashion blog you can check out here. It is always funny working with someone for the first time that you feel as though you already know. This was the case with Megin. I had followed her on social media for a while so when we met we both already knew a lot about each other from our online presence. I love working with fashion bloggers because they are always comfortable in front of the camera and require very little directing to produce a variety of shots. Idaho Film Photographer
For this shoot, Jacelyn went with all white flowers with large green leaf accents. It was complimented nicely with the simple gray dress. We shots these at the Tabernacle in Rexburg Idaho which ended up being a great backdrop for this shoot.
All images are shot on a Pentax 645n medium format film camera with Fuji Pro 400H film and developed at The FIND Lab.
As an Idaho film photographer I love getting to shoot Idaho falls weddings as well as Rexburg Idaho weddings. Shooting film on the Pentax 645n is a great way for me to capture the soft romantic images that I loved to shoot on film in Idaho.
