Baby Hudson is finally here and I couldn’t be more excited! Krista was the cutest pregnant women, check out her maternity shoot here. But now she is an even cuter mom, which I knew she would be! She is a natural and so full of love for her little boy. He is so lucky to have her as his mother. I just wish we lived closer so that we could hang out in the day with our kiddos together and I could snuggle him all day long!

Although I am jealous of all the newborn snuggles she is getting these days, I am also content with sleeping through the night over here. What would you say is the hardest part of having a newborn? I would definitely say not having consistent sleep. I learned quickly about myself when I had my daughter that I didn’t function well while waking up every 2 or so hours. I was naive thinking that I would get plenty of sleep the first few weeks because our moms were there to help us. No matter how much help you have (and I had lots) they still can’t feed the baby if you are nursing and that was something I was not prepared for. Those babies eat for a long time and often! But boy oh boy are they worth it!! I would take all those sleepless nights again to cuddle my babies like that once more. Now that they are 18 months and 3.5, they have too much energy to wanna cuddle me the same way. Enjoy all those blessings that come with a newborn Krista, even if you get no sleep 🙂
