Logan Wedding Photographer || Casey James PhotographyTanner’s family is like my second family. I became best friends with his brother Taylor in early elementary school, and we grew up on the same street. I am so glad I was able to photograph Tanner and Allie’s wedding. As you can tell, they are easy to photograph and so fun to work with. Funny story, I took their engagements in July.  Tanner asked me about doing his wedding and said he would talk to his fiance and get back to me. I never heard back from him, so I assumed he decided to go another route. I should have followed up with him about it but we had been so busy, and it kinda slipped through the cracks. I thought about it a couple of times but didn’t want to make him feel awkward by asking him if he didn’t want to book with me. Well two days before their wedding he text me to check in about his wedding. I was excited but shocked! Luckily I was still available that day, and I quickly sent over a contract and questionnaire so I could find out the details of the wedding day.

Not only do I love his family, but his wedding was in my favorite city, Logan Utah! My family came with me, and we made a day trip out of it. After the wedding, we went to see our friends and old co-workers at the Utah State Campus Store and then went to Gossners. If you haven’t been to Gossners and/or had their rootbeer milk, you are completely missing out. They have flavored and nonflavored milk that doesn’t have to be refrigerated. It’s perfect for food storage, lunches or just to drink every day all day. Yum! Here is a link to the milk, you’re welcome! I also really like the mango, and orange cream flavors. Last thing about the milk, then I will drop it; we bought the whole milk for my son so we can stop wasting money on road trips because we kept stopping to get him milk from the gas station or McDonald’s drive-through. It’s been a game changer.
Their reception was a week later in Idaho Falls in his parent’s backyard. It was a perfect night for a backyard wedding, and it was decorated beautifully. They had treats from The Caramel Tree and now I know where I need to go next time I need yummy treats for any occasion. They were delicious and a great addition to the party.
